33. Those old bugs ruled
They sure were ugly, but they were *cheap*, and had about five moving parts. Even a mechanical idiot like me could usually fix them when they broke down.

The new ones are almost as ugly, but they're expensive and complicated. That defeats the whole idea of the old bugs. From now on I'm buying Buicks or Chryslers; they have a better repair record, and I don't have to cringe at the thought of my Jewish fore-bearers spinning in their graves.
