I was outside collecting the garbage cans, and when I came in, he was sitting right there.

BTW - when I took him in Friday, the vet and two assistants must have spent at least 20-30 minutes with us. We came home with antibiotics, steroid, steroid eye cream, atropine for his eyes and a pill for tapeworms. She ran 3 blood tests and checked his eyes for scratches. The bill for the vet's time was $37, the total bill $130. It's money I wish I didn't have to pay, but in my book VERY reasonable considering the time and materials!
