69. Living in Silicon Valley somehow makes you an expert?
How many times do I have to say this? Sorry for the caps:

1) THE OP IS NOT ABOUT THE IDEA: I could list 10 different things I have in mind, but I'm not going to list them here.

2) I AM NOT LOOKING FOR FUNDING: I am looking for someone who has any desire to do something, and in the process I'm noticing that people don't, not for themselves, not ever.

3) I AM NOT MARKETTING: Marketting is a whole separate stage.

It's not that complicated.

THIS WHOLE TOPIC IS ABOUT WHY PEOPLE ARE SO UNMOVITVATED.

People are sheepish and unmovitvated to do anything outside their jobs. I can't understand why people keep wanting to know my idea. What then? What are you going to say then? Critique the idea? Like I really need someone who's thought about it for 5 seconds (and loves to flame) to give me advice on something I've been doing for years.

I really have no desire to piss people off but they are flaming and lecturing me on topics that are totally irrelevant.

Americans are GREAT WORKERS but it seems only 1/1000 want to do anything outside their jobs, or even make the slightest effort. It's a fine system, just make everyone work to please a corporation, that system works very effectively, but why doesn't anyone question that?

Obviously I've failed at this thread, and I should reply anymore, but it's just irritating, I feel like I'm being lectured by people who (understandably) have no idea, and it's hard to ignore.

Yeah, competing with Silicon Valley garages is a big thing to try, but that's why I'm looking for anyone else who has any motivation to do something. And there is nobody. Are you the least bit concerned that in the U.S. the little guy doesn't stand much of a chance? That's the sort of thing I would have expected DU'ers to be concerned about.
