He's got terminal spinal cancer. I've know him for over 30 years-we used to work together at the Armadillo, were housemates, and at one time traded girlfriends. He's had 3 surgeries in the last year and each time they thought they got it and then a couple of months later there's a new one. Needless to say, his wife is totally frazzled. He's come to grips with it but I know no one else has.
