20. My daughter started celebrating by herself.
Then, she told us about it.

We don't have to talk about the not so good stuff, because no one forgets that, daughter just noticed how we were beating ourselves up, because we "lost" him and didn't have a chance to make to make it better, and she said she started trying to re-establish a balance in her life by doing specific things in specific ways to help her remember the good stuff. Later, maybe 5 or so years after he died, she started sharing with us.
