14. My son, my daughter, and I have a tradition for celebrating their father who passed on
eleven years ago in October.

My daughter lead the way; we spend an entire weekend together, either in April, his birthday, or in October. The primary goal is to have fun. They sleep here with their spouses. We do any of the things we used to do with him, as many activities as we want. We go out on the town or even just hang out here. All of our meals are his favorite foods and drinks. And we get to say as many "I'm glad we ____________________" about our life with him as anyone wants to. I think doing this has made all of us more aware of how much we are who we are, because he was part of us, so we are still part of him. If he had not been precisely who he was, we would not be who we are. Like ripples in "the pond" he goes on and on, in a different way now that he has changed, but real nonetheless.
