so it seemed like a reasonable thing to do. In fact, all 6 of us in the van were on psychedelics , and we got stopped by a cop. The cop was a nice guy, and the driver ( and all of us) did such a good job of " maintaining" that I remember ( somehow) the cop hanging out to just shoot the shit with us for a few minutes, after determining that whatever he stopped us for was OK . (By the way, your "incident" didn't happen to have occurred in western Illinois in '70 or '71 did it? )
