They are hideous things and most of the people I know who wore them are now admitting they are not really comfy. Seems likely a lot are being pitched out these days.
There was even a pic of DimSon in a pair of black ones and shorts, clearly showing the fact that his socks have the presidential seal on them. ;) I'll try to track that down for you.
