I was 16 1/2 when it came out in 1983, so I was the perfect demographic to fall for Carrie Fisher in a brass bikini. They could have stopped the movie right after they escaped from Jabba's prison barge and I would have been happy.
Now, it stands out as the weakest of the three original movies and might even be worse than Revenge of the Sith. The devilish Han Solo was effectively neutered in RotJ and the Ewoks practically make me puke. And, WTF are these little teddy bears doing taking out armored stormtroopers with pointy sticks and boomerangs?
