12. When I walked a lot in the city, it used to piss me off.
One evening, after some jerk yelled what he thought was a charming offer, I stopped, spun to face him and in my best pissed off mother voice asked: "Does that crappy behavior actually get you anywhere? Didn't think so."

One man actually pulled his vehicle into a driveway indentation for a car lot, the driveway blocked by dozens of cars, but he effectively blocked me from walking down the sidewalk. He was pissed cuz I ignored his calls of 'how much'. He slammed his door and started toward me yelling: "I SAID 'HOW MUCH?' you bitch!"

I was 40, no makeup on, hair not done, wearing not tight pants and a 'big shirt over a tank top. PISSED ME OFF and I started screaming for the sales guys at the car lot.

After that, I got a gun and some lessons. I refuse to let jerks and misogynists limit my life.
