It sounds like the roommates tolerated Larry long before the OP moved in and it's only the OP who raised an objection. That they agreed with the OP means they should be willing to step up to the plate now and help correct the problem. If they are unwilling to do so then the OP should start looking for a new place to live because Larry isn't going anywhere.
