It's official: I'm running for alderman

It's official; I'm a candidate for the Manchester Board of Alderman!

I filed my papers with the city clerk last week, and it's full speed ahead.

So far, there are two other candidates in the open, non-partisan race. One is the incumbent, a good old boy machine Democrat; the other is a Republican woman who moved to town from nearby Amherst a year or so ago. Nobody knows much about her, except that she was close to sleazy ex-governor Craig Benson. There is a chance that a former alderman, a very controversial conservative activist, might run, but as of now he's leaning towards a mayoral run.
