Thank you SeattleGirl for your courage in being honest about your troubles -- this helps me to process my own difficulties.

I have ADD. It's hard for me to stay focused on daily/weekly/monthly/yearly tasks.

I've often lived from hand to mouth, and often enjoyed many times of prosperity. I'm going through an intense time of want right now.

Somehow I've been successful in staving off the worst case scenarios in my life, but I haven't yet figured out how to always remain successful. It seems that I need the challenge of being faced with real prospect of bing thrown out on the street to regain focus. This relay sucks!

My resume reads like a must win; but I seem to lose when I'm most optimistic -- and win when I'm most threatened.

I'm extremely tired of this pattern.
