12. if it was one or two sprouts I wouldn't care
but it's more than a dozen, and some of them aren't small. His are like 15 feet tall. I keep pulling them out or chopping them down, but if I don't do that for a week, the stalks will be 4 feet tall within days.

I mean, it's my backyard, and it's not a huge backyard either. I don't want to be overrun with these things.
