20. I found this over the counter Nighttime sleep aid in my med cabinet
I just took a couple. We'll see what happens.

The insomnia started as soon as the weather changed. Our spring has been late. The hot flashes in bed are way more than I can take, as if the daytime ones are any walk in the park. I actually have had to change my pajamas. The sweating between the boobs just makes me crazy. Oh how I can relate to the covers on, covers off.

My husband is a buyer and warehouse manager for an electrical contractor. When they started going south they had my husband get rid of his drivers. That left him (at 54 years old) to do all this heavy lifting himself. This is clearly a comp case, but he has been reluctant to file a claim. He has been to physical therapy at the $20.00 co-pay sometimes 3-4 days a week. Our doctor did some reflex checks and he practically has no reflex. He can't even open a jar of pickles, for god's sake. Yesterday he saw the surgeon for the first time and the surgeon immediately told him no more working, mostly because he can't shift the truck with his right arm, and ordered an MRI for Thursday. The doctor also convinced him to file the comp claim, as he is convinced that his injuries are work related. He went in and told his boss, and they agreed to have him work from home, so he has the fax machine set up here and is coordinating and doing all the purchasing from here. The comp claim will at least protect him. Tonight the contractor that interviewed him a couple weeks ago called and wants him to meet their Buffalo team (this is the biggest electrical contractor in NY State) on Tuesday. The new job will most likely be purchasing, expediting, and managing a warehouse, so a back injury should not effect his ability to do his job. The new company knows that his current company is going belly up, and told him in the first interview that they don't want to pull him away until the end. There is a relationship between the two companies owners that goes way back. The end is suppose to be around August -- which gives him a little time to get fixed. It is such a quandary. I'm sorry for the long diatribe. I do appreciate you allowing me to vent this, and your advice as an HR person is most welcome.

Thank-you!
