Something constructed, like a tool or a building or a bridge has a "purpose".
It would be valid IF there were a creator who had constructed us, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Even if it was the case, HeSheIt made it supremely unclear what our purpose is; hence you, me, and everyone ask the "purpose question", but no one really ever comes up with an answer that makes even a little sense. So I smile at babies (that's my only "rule") and try where possible to make the world a better place for their future, but I couldn't really say why I'm motivated to do that  Maybe I'm just needy for the approval of babies?  |
