21. NO! BAD DOG!
And there's a whistle I use calling them. And STAY! And SIT! And a few kinds of clicks and whistles I use when I take them out on walks.

Our parrot uses the dog's real names more than I do, but they ignore her unless she's in the cupboard rummaging through the food and dropping anything she doesn't want to eat, which the dogs are always very grateful for.

NO! BAD BIRD!

The thing about parrots is that they are like cats, utterly shameless and arrogant. They can get into more sorts of trouble than cats, and cause even more destruction. They don't sleep all day like cats -- parrots are constantly on the lookout for new things to do; new ways of getting into trouble.

DAMN IT BIRD! GET, GET, GET! GET OUT OF THE CUPBOARD! OUT, DOGS, OUT!

I'm the crazy guy waving the broom at them.
