I was a little out of line, and I think I misread your post. It sounded like you were both dismissing it AND saying -- as others have -- that The Secret came from a source that it didn't come from because the knowledge is ancient.

It's been years and years since I read any of her books myself, but i remember that I had at least one of them underlined from cover to cover. One long underline. They were pretty important in those days, and still are. Still kept in print and available, which it itself amazing, I think.

What I remember so vividly from one of her books was how humankind decided a few thousand years ago, at the level of the collective unconscious, to see what would happen if we let the masculine energy predominat, and let that go to its logical conclusion. (Okay, so here's what I'd say about now: now that we know the logical outcome is that it puts the very survival of the planet itself at risk, can we stop it already?)
