...there is a chance, especially if he went to the M.E., that he is having a reaction to something he was vaccinated with. Many feel that Executive Order 13139 has been misused. It was supposed to grant our military a flexibility when it came to giving inoculations of untested drugs should a need arise. (Which was President Clinton's reasons for signing that EO.). Some feel that order has been misused by the bush admin because of their close ties to the the pharmaceutical industry...especially pappy bush with his known connections to Eli-Lilly(sp?).
I have an adopted step-son who swears his nightmare life of chronic insomnia was started directly after being given those inoculations just prior to his ship being sent over to the first Gulf War. He has not been successful at all in combating his problem which has been a direct influence in turning him into an alcoholic. He claims he has to drink himself to sleep at this point. (We are talking between 10-15+ beers EVERY night, he sits down and drinks one after the other until he passes out!). When he went to the VA Hospital the bastard doctor he had prescribed him with extra strength sleeping pills-even though he knew that his patient was a severe alcoholic! This resulted in my step-kid going on a blacked out rampage that wound him up in a mental ward for a couple of weeks. The civilian doctors he saw there all agreed that those sleeping pills prescribed to anyone with severe alcoholism was absolutely the WRONG thing to do...DUH.
How many more of our vet's out there are manifesting problems that modern medicine is struggling to figure out the causes of? My signature line below, www.beyondtrason.com is where I have gotten some of the info I spoke of in the top paragraph. This DVD is free to all vets. It deals with the history of those inoculations as well as depleted uranium poisoning and it gives links to groups who are working on the problems.
I can not possibly know what is going on with your brother of course but every time I hear the words "vet" mentioned in the same sentence with "mysterious" ailments which doctors can not seem to find a cause for, I immediately suspect the myriad of mystery ailments which fall under the umbrella name of "Gulf War Syndrome". Contrary to what the government would have you believe, it is not necessarily a mental disorder brought on by the stress of combat. That is but one of MANY aspect of it. Good Luck... My best wishes to you and your brother in this. c
