Poll question: new car infatuation- how long does it last?
Advertisements [?]
ok, hubby had to have a new car. i will never have to have a new car. it is his first. we survived the process because i just checked out, let him do it himself, and kept my mouth shut. he even went so far as to do the deal himself, even though we have one of the best good cop-bad cop acts around.
so, now we have one of these-

he is now certifiable crazy about this car. i am loathe to so much as touch it. i do not want to put the first scratch on it, which i will. i hate keys and locks, he loves his little blip-blip remote start yada yada.

what i want to know from those of you out there- how long before he comes back down to earth, and it is safe for me to take this thing to the hardware store.
feel free to add you first new car stories. i wish to understand this phenomena. in the meantime, i will be taking my old truck over to buy some thin set.
