13. A friend's Corgi was my watchdog hero after a breakin
Had really bad PTSD (I was sleeping when someone broke in, just barely got out ahead of the guy)

For the nights that I HAD to sleep at my apt, my friend lent me her brave little Corgi - it was like he knew -- he slept on the floor, facing the window, pointy little ears up.
