Okay, I know it's aggravating but it's also aggravating to be expected to do about ten jobs by yourself (which is what's expected at most of these places) for very little compensation. "Closing" generally consists of a whole checklist of chores and yes, sometimes it helps you get out on time when you do some of them a little early.

Tell me, if the guy had told you he'd already cleaned the machine and didn't want to make a milkshake, would you have accepted that any better?
