True story. I gave all our candy away and turned off the light. I went upstairs of our little townhouse apartment and started getting ready to go out that night. My buddy who didn't live there was downstairs just hanging out...while I was in the bathroom I kept hearing what sounded like running around and some yelling but I just figured it was my roommate and my buddy goofing around or something. It wasn't. I gave away so much good candy that word had gotten around and the kids friends came all at once I am sure we had some repeats too.

The yelling I had heard was my buddy screaming up the stairs "WHERE IS THE CANDY!!!" I couldn't hear him because I was in the shower. There were 10 or 15 kids waiting outside the open front door while he ran around frantically trying to find the candy (there was none left) or something else to give them.

In our bachelor pad apartment he found (in our kitchen drawers) AND HANDED OUT the following

Sugar packets
Tea
Ketchup
plastic knife/fork/napkin/salt/pepper package
coupons (expired)
pennies
tartar sauce packets (roommate loved Long John Silvers)
Arby's sauce

The neighbors never talked to us much.
