12. I have done once.
It was a local government election for my home address whilst I was at university elsewhere.

I've also cast a proxy vote for a friend who was away once.

The postal vote wasn't as much fun, call my old-fashioned but I like the whole ritual of going down to the polling station, giving the person my polling card, going into the little wooden booth, putting my cross in the box, folding the paper and putting it into the ballot box. Putting it into an envelope and getting a friend to sign the declaration of identity is far less fun, i.m.o.
