26. High school proves that the laws of physics can be ignored
because it sucks and blows at the same time. At least it did for me. I graduated many years ago but still have occasional nightmares that take place in my old high school (shudder). And Homecoming? Ha! What is this "Homecoming" of which you speak? All I remember about such things is sitting at home brooding (or sobbing hysterically) because I wasn't ever invited to Homecoming, or Prom, or any other such thing. I still remember sitting with 600 other kids in a hot gym at graduation, and a lot of the girls were sniffling because they were sad to be graduating, and all I could think of was how glad I was to be finally getting out of that hellhole. Feh. High school was horrible, cliquey, demoralizing, and it probably scarred me for life. It's taken, oh, 40 years or so to get over it.
