I love it though, it really opens me up to the right wavelength. ;)

Like others have said it really depends on a lot of circumstances. You never want to take a psychedelic drug when you are in a bad state of mind, you'll set yourself up for an uncomfortable and sometimes bad trip.

One of the most common things is that lights tend to look starry and may have auras- everything gets brighter and more vibrant. Time loses meaning- for some it may be faster, for some it may be slower, for others there is no time, only 'now'. When I was on acid it felt like everything around me was full of life. You are just on an entirely different level.

I agree with the above poster who said that one should try shrooms before trying acid. I was much more at ease my first time on shrooms then my first time on acid. With shrooms you still get giggly, everything still looks really cool, but, it is less intense (unless you gobble up a LOT) and much easier to control yourself and 'maintain'. :)
