let me preface by saying that this drink sucks.

i had to park in hoboken tonight and i was out of quarters, so i went into the closest store to get some change. It being a liquor store and me not wanting to come off as a complete quarter hogging jerk, i figured i could buy a Smirnoff Ice or something similar to begin my weekend and buy some grace with the guy behind the counter.

well...

i walked in and asked the guy if he sold single serving malt drinks and he said yes... but he only had one for sale. Enter my friend Parrot Bay Sunset Surf malt beer. the label says it's pineapple orange flavor. i say it's the worst waste of 1.75 ever. worse than losing the money down a sewer drain - for real.

so my car was sitting outside at an empty meter and i was inside the store standing in front of this old cooler and wishing i had another option besides the weird orange beer in my hand. oh well. i pulled out a ten to give to him and as soon as the money passed from my hands to his, he opened the cash register and said

"now that i have your money, let me clue you in to a little secret in hoboken... the meter cops leave at 4:30 every day so you don't even need to pay anything right now. they're gone and you won't get a ticket"

FOOL. why didn't you tell me that before i bought your crappy orange beer??

so i walked back to the car, threw the bag into the back seat, ran my errands, and went home, hoping desperately that my needless orange beer would at least taste somewhat good.

it didn't. i took one sip and immediately decided i hated it.

so here's my plea to you, oh new jersey craigslist reader....

take my orange beer. i'm not going to pretend it is good, cause it's not. then again, if you happen to like pineapple orange malt beverages, this just may be the best thing you'll read tonight.

i live right across the street from liberty state park. you can take the lightrail and walk about 3 minutes to my apartment. it's yours for free and i'll be happy to release it to someone who will appreciate it more than i will.

FOR FREE: one slightly used bottle of cold pineapple orange malt beverage.
