I call myself a food snob perhaps a bit self-depricatingly, for what it's worth.

Anyhow: I said very plainly that while I wouldn't eat at a chain restaurant over a similarly priced local establishment, if someone wants to do so with their time and money, it's their business.

Similarly:

I don't jump out of airplanes, but if someone wants to with their time and money, it's their business.
I don't wear flip-flops, but if someone wants to with their money (not much time there), it's their business.
I don't have much of a desire to learn to ballroom dance, but if someone wants to with their time and money, it's their business.

How does one's Dem credentials fit into this argument at all, either in the original thread or this one?
