109. Have you got my number or what?
 Classic movies strike again!

I do like to tell people that when I was a kid, the raciest things on TV were Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Gigi. The latter I really didn't understand, and the former I understood all too well.

My culturally literate parents exposed me to a lot of rather adult material through opera and little theater, to say nothing of their collection of Broadway cast albums.

The strange thing about kids is that they can become hooked on musicals through albums, without actually seeing them on stage or in film. I know that was true in my case, and it still seems to be true for some kids.

However, thanks to DVDs and videos and PBS, you have more options than ever for watching musicals.
