After you're away from the person, part of them may live on in your head, if that makes any sense to you. You'll still hear their rants and criticisms and judgments and etc...
So that's the second step -- first get them out of your space, then get them out of your head. THEN they'll be out of your life! Meanwhile, distance yourself in both ways, as much as possible. Recognize it's not YOUR problem. Think of other things; think of the person as a comic character; write to others about it with humor... And think of how free you can become in two months!!  |
