44. The most cheerful axe murder *ever* bwah!
They reissued the DVD (in June 2005, for some reason...;)) with separate commentaries by the director and the screenwriter. They mention that in the book, the character's name is Paul Owen, but there was a real Paul Owen in Manhattan and he wanted a huge amount of money for the use of his name; so they picked a name that sounded close enough and wasn't listed in the Manhattan phone book-- Paul Allen. They really had no idea until a reporter at a press conference asked them about it...

It's one of my favorite films though I haven't watched it enough to quote huge passages of dialogue...yet...:D
