1. First time you ever drank?

My parents have pictures of me as a two-year old finishing off beers at parties of theirs. I really starting drinking about 15 or 16, we lived in an area where other drugs weren't available. Ahh, the pleasures of rural life.

2. More of a beer, wine or liquor person?

I like all three. I have developed a more discerning taste in wine over the past five years, due to the influence of my wife.

3. What kind of drunk are you?

Happy, sometimes sleepy. I haven't been really drunk in a long time.

4. Ever been in a drunken brawl?

No, but I saw one that involved tire irons, sticks, and later police.

5. Favorite drink/shot?

Classic gin martini, single malt scotch.

6. Top 5 beers (if appropriate)?

Always changing: Saranac beers, due to availability, Wild Goose, Tupper Hop Pocket, various local microbreweries.

7. Are you more of a bar or a club person?

Bar. Hate cigarette smoke in any venue, fortunately the laws have changed.

8. Alcohol you despise?

Anything sweet, with a very few exceptions. Most cheap stuff, most bizarre mixed drinks. Crap alcohol.

9. Ever bought a stranger a drink?

Not intentionally.

10. Ever been thrown out of a bar/club?

No. Even drunk, I am civilized.

11. Ever make out in a bar with someone whose name you didn't know?

Ummm ..... what do you mean by "know"?

12. Largest bar tab you've ever accumulated?

Less than $30.

13. Ever buy a round for random people?

No.

14. Ever danced on the bar/stage?

Nope. Always kept my clothes on, too, at least in bars

15. Ever been drunk around your parents?

Usually with them, at many holiday events. We WASPs need alcohol as a social lubricant.
