Men and women may manifest thier sickness differently (some women may be more masochistic and men sadistic, although I have seen the reverse quite often as well) but the bottom line is that healthy people will attract healthy people.
Personally, I don't want someone to "act nice" or to act at all. I want someone who IS nice and doesn't have to put on a show to prove it.
