91. oh, that's just our way of saying he's really not tuned in much....
he just sort of ignores the reality around him. The kittens, for example, love to run around his legs and try to get him to play or snuggle. They don't register. He just keeps doing what he's doing. Max is old -- about 15, and tends his own little mental garden. But he's a talker -- long, loud stretches of noise with lots of variation in pitch and tone. Food ususally puts and end to that -- but it has to come straight from the 'fridge. He eats nuggets like all the others but has decided that a goodie from the people stash is something we owe him daily.
