:wtf:

Yesterday, a bunch of us were just hanging out at a friend's house watching football and watching the kids roller blade, etc., and the topic turned to teenagers. Seems one of the neighbor's daughters had a "Pimp and *o" party where the aforementioned type costumes were required.

Then, apparently the party progressed from a costume party to an actual 'activity'. Until the police called and 12 of them were arrested for drinking underage, disorderly conduct, etc.,

Here is my :wtf: This young lady has a predilection for misbehavior on a grand scale. She is a junior in HS, has already had two abortions, has been arrested, you get the idea.

As a parent of two teens, there is no way in hell I would leave the house to go to dinner and leave that miscreant behind to wreak havoc on my home.

I don't get these parents who go out and go about their social lives while their teens are busy destroying their homes and potentially their lives. The liability alone of serving alcohol to under aged kids would give me nightmares.

Am I just old? Yes. I am. but is this type of 'hands off' parenting something new?
