it would be to the South Bay. I like Hermosa the most, though the reality is that nothing is remotely affordable. Most of my California freinds don't own property.
I went back for a wedding last year at this time and the weather was perfection. I spent a day with friends wandering up and down through Redondo and Hermosa.
Nice picture, very nice, but it can't compete with my memory. I was just thinking of all the people (skaters, fishermen, etc.) when we ran around the building at the end of the pier.
On my own, I used to run on the beach in Santa Monica. Nice hard flat sand along the water's edge.
