16. How do you know what emotional pain she went through?
There are no background facts in the story. They are both adults and responsible for their own actions. How do you know that she didn't dump him and then lure him back to exact revenge for some wrong, real or imagined. This is a criminal act plain and simple and I am assuming that the only reason she did not get jail time was because the victim did not want her to be treated harshly.

Why is it that women feel like any revenge is justified against men if they feel wronged? I saw a sign in front of a used record store once that read "cash for his CDs." That's appalling. What about "she threw me out"? Really? Can I see the court eviction order?
