27. He had transfer opportunities taken away
He took a knife to school last year because he was afraid of a particular student with whom he'd had a shoving match. It fell from his pocket, and a teacher saw it; so he was expelled.

He had the expulsion rescinded; but they said he couldn't transfer to a school out of his area. Considering this incident, though, I might be able to use the fact that the school didn't call me when he was injured as leverage to get him into some other place.

The only problem is that there is only one decent high school in this county; and I'm not sure that I can get him transferred there because they're so overcrowded.

I wish I could move right now...
