labs are incredible pets - so loyal and only wanting to please you. our wonderful departed chocolate lab, Jack, was my husband's 'road dog' - had to go everywhere with him - I occasionally had to fight for attention! truly loving a pet shows great compassion - such a good trait. and a lab's returned love is immeasurable.
