11. Blame it Hurricane Rita, Houston was a crazy place last week.
I had three friends stuck out on the highways, they had to sleep in their cars on Friday night/Saturday morning, I was so worried about them.

The stores were crazy, you should have seen the lines for plywood.
I have never cut so many pieces of plywood in a 48 hour period.
We have older people in the neighborhood who couldn't do it for themselves so we younger ones helped them out.

We were the lucky ones, Rita didn't cause any major damage in Houston. I watch the news and see the hell the people are going though just a few miles away. I am a big believer in counting one's blessings.
