RIP "Patches"

To me, Patches was a god-cat. Many years back when I was about 4, we'd go into the woods on adventures, side by side:hug::pals:
She was a very faithful Calico, and the best cat I have ever known. Then she disappeared, never to be seen again.

That was a little more than ten years ago.

Yesterday, I came back here after a few weeks being down the road and in two time zones. When I came back, "Desie" had kittens. There were two Orange Tabbies, and a Calico. I swore it was reincarnation!
Naturally, I called her "Patches".

Tonight, at 8:45pm, I walked out the door, taking out the trash. As I walked back in, "Patches" wasn't moving. I got down, and petted her a couple of times. Still, nothing. As I picked her up, I knew.

I lost it for almost half an hour.

Then I looked at her mouth, and it looked like she had thrown up, and choked. Other than that, I don't know what happened.

Rest In Peace, Patch-cat:cry:
