Or at least tell her you will, then followup by doing it. It is against the law.

Whe I lived in Manhattan, I had neighbors who played loud music into the early morning. I called the police on them... after the police left, the music came right back on. I finally resorted to going down to the basement where the electrical breakers were and flipped the breaker off for their apartment. I did that a few times, they eventually stopped.
