29. 1999: the year of many job offers
And I wasn't even LOOKING for a job.

I told one place that I would need one month paid vacation per year, paid relocation, and I the choice of which city I work in at any given time.

They said yes - instantly - over the phone. Seems unfathomable now.

And this was in a field unrelated to the "tech boom".
