32. Sorry this happened but I hope it leads to something better
I've been stuck in the contract/temp work thing myself for a long time and they just don't need a reason for anything. In April I was laid off from a year long assigment after 3 months, budgetary reasons. I November I was laid off from a 4 month assigment after 3 weeks, with some mumbling about my not being qualified, but nothing specific. The permanent employees are shielded from the fear of unemployment because there are temp workers. It sucks.

The good news is that I've been seeing more perm jobs lately.
