I have no idea who thought it would be a good idea to develop that term and promote it--maybe to make men feel more important about all the work they're not doing to develop, nurture and produce the baby? So fucking offensive to me. KNOCK THAT SHIT OFF, selfish, vaguely-misogynist "fathers" of the world. While she's pregnant? Be grateful, offer the support requested of you, and otherwise? Shut the fuck up. At that time, you're doing...jack shit. Count your blessings, don't try to elevate your own non-importance and if you do feel the desire to use that disgusting, inaccurate expression, maybe you should think about what that says about you.
