I have never name dropped here or in general before. Guess I'm in a weird mood Thank you for humoring me!!!!!!!!

But Howie was very quiet, polite and subdued backstage. On stage, he was marvelous, it was like we had worked together for years. We were in total rythm and I had the Deaf audience laughing their asses off at the same time the hearing folks were (well, little lag time there)
Mr Fuzz was crying afterwards, because he had never actually "gotten" and actually laughed at an interpreted comedy act before. Wow! That is high praise. I ALWAYS get the Deaf audience cracking up; and because the language is visual, it gets hearing people cracking up too (like raunchy jokes--in ASL?---Bwaaa!! Funnier than the comic was expecting!!)
I got in trouble with one of the managers in my department afterward. Seems a college paper reporter mentioned that "the interpreter was talented and a comedian, gifted, etc. in her own right". Mr Manager, who has never seen my work, misinterpreted the article, decided I must have stepped out of my role as interpreter, and blacklisted me for a few years,,,without ever asking me or Deaf audience members, for details.
Grr! Can you imagine?? Yeesh.
Hey Lars, thanks for letting me dig on myself for a bit, it was fun for me and kind of you!!!
