It is clear from your comment that you are not aware of the true message of Christianity, or you would not say "you don't like" a group of people who are not harming you in any way.
There is nothing against individualism in most religions.
I would tend to agree with you that many organized relgions are foolish, if taken on just appearances.
Your arguement falls apart when you see what INDIVIDUALS do with their religion... things that have nothing to do with church or services. Things like building housing for the homeless, feeding people who need food, trying to right wrongs, sheltering families from problems and on and on.
