33. Dad convinced my little brother that CPAs beat children.
Edited on Mon Mar-07-05 01:31 AM by RadicalMom
We used to drive past a little building that had a sign in front that said CPA. My brother was always acting up. One day, dad started telling him that if he didn't behave, he would drop him at the CPA. and they would punish him for his bad behavior, that it was what they did for a living. When my brother was old enough to question why a Certified Public Accountant would punish children, Dad told him this guy was an AccountMENT, and that was what they did. This worked for a while longer. My brother, now 45, still has a terrible fear of accountants.
