If she knows how to break down a lobster, this could be educational for you. Ask her. If she is a lobster "pro," she'll be happy to indoctinate you, and maybe it's about time. (There's nothing better.) Lobster tails are a different animal, and while not quite as good are a lot easier to handle than a Maine lobster. If you are outside the northeast, real Maine lobster is harder to find and the question might be moot.

Whatever happens, have a good time.
