I just voted in California's special recall election and reside in one of the six counties that still uses punch cards but realized I did not consciously check for hanging chad. Unsettling feeling. On an upbeat thought, though, I noticed a lot of dings and dents around Bustamante's name (indicating a lot of use) but none next to AS's hole. Not a very scientific survey, but it's all I've got to hang on to till the polls close.
